Our delivery program in the field of Acids & Bases

With our delivery program of acids and bases, we are addressing a very broad group of customers. Our customers include companies from the metal, textile and plastics processing, but also municipal companies for waste water treatment. Acids are of immense importance both in the chemical industry and in everyday life. They are part of many cleaning agents and are indispensable as starting materials for chemical syntheses, for example for fertilizers, building materials, metals and plastics. Our goal is to provide our customers with all the chemicals and chemical products they need in line with our all-in-one concept.

Standard packaging sizes

We make our products available to you in the concentrations and container sizes customary on the market and for all common industrial purposes. Our acids, lyes and heat transfer media are available in 20 l, 30 l, 60 l and 220 l plastic canisters as well as in IBCs with variable filling quantities. Standard container sizes of our solvents are 20 l, 30 l and 216 l metal or steel containers as well as IBCs, also with variable filling quantities.

The standard filling quantity of our solids is 25 kg, usually packed on pallets of 40 bags.

Customer manufacturing

As a service of our company, we offer you the opportunity to adapt our products individually to your needs. If our standard concentrations and container sizes are not usable / practicable for you, we will gladly manufacture the required products according to your individual specifications.

Please note that we have to calculate a minimum purchase quantity for individual customer productions. This is usually a complete pallet per product and container size.

Privat label

With our private label service, we offer our customers the opportunity to promote and sell high-quality chemicals and chemical products as well as products based on customer-specific mixtures and formulations under their own trade name.

Please let us know the desired products, stating the filling quantities, purchase quantities per delivery and the total annual quantity. After checking your information, we will be happy to make you an offer as soon as possible.

Inorganic acids

Inorganic acids for a variety of applications

Mineral acids are used in many areas of the chemical industry as raw materials for the synthesis of other organic and inorganic chemicals. Large quantities of these acids - especially sulfuric acid, nitric acid and hydrochloric acid - are produced for commercial use in large plants. Hydrochloric acid is one of the most important inorganic acids in the chemical industry. It is used, for example, in ore processing, but also for cleaning tools or pickling and etching in metal processing. Last but not least, hydrochloric acid is an important reagent in chemical analysis. In addition to hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid is another important basic chemical in industry. It is used in the manufacture of products such as fertilizers, rayon, medicines, dyes and detergents. Mineral acids are also used directly because of their corrosive properties. For example, a dilute hydrochloric acid solution is used to remove scale from the interior of boilers, with precautions being taken to prevent the acid from corroding the boiler. This process is called descaling.

Organic acids

Organic acids for industrial, food and pharmaceutical applications

As acidic compounds, organic acids are characteristic components of a large number of natural substances. An important group are the fruit acids, often hydroxycarboxylic acids such as citric acid or tartaric acid. Organic acids are not only used in the food industry, but also in many technical areas, e.g. for gentle pickling and surface treatment of metals, especially stainless steel, copper and brass, but also in various applications such as smoothing silk or setting plaster. Due to their special properties, there are also many possible applications in pharmacy and cosmetics, often as a natural preservative.

Inorganic lyes

Products by MCAS

Inorganic lyes for a wide range of applications

Alkaline solutions are aqueous solutions of metal hydroxides. The best-known lyes are caustic soda, lye of potassium, lye of chlorine and lye of calcium. The latter are mainly used in industry. Lyes dissolve fats and are therefore used as cleaning agents. In addition, they have a caustic effect, but do not attack metals (apart from zinc and aluminium). They are used in soap production, paper production, as a cleaning agent or as a paint remover. Today, lye is commercially manufactured using a membrane cell chloralkali process. It is supplied in various forms such as flakes, pellets, microbeads, coarse powder or a solution. Lye has traditionally been used as a major ingredient in soap making. Lyes are used to cure many types of food, including canned mandarin oranges, hominy, lye rolls, century eggs, pretzels, and bagels.
